Client Presentations and Buying Nothing

On being grateful: I made a presentation to a major client last month. From the time I found out that I was assigned to the presentation to until the presentation ended, I was a bundle of nerves. Once it ended though, a huge feeling of relief swam over me. And on the flight back after the presentation, I felt grateful that my immediate supervisor had the confidence in me to send me by myself to meet the client (and I am also grateful to the client who, as I found out, had requested the presentation be done by me).

Which Leads Me To . . .

On being frugal: I bought nothing this past week. No eating out to try the new Thai place that just opened up or going to the drugstore to pick up that new brand of conditioner I just read about. Instead, I opted to make Thai basil chicken at home and discovered that my stock of toiletries had runneth over with various conditioners from seasons past.
